'One Belt and One Road' reporting team visits YTO Group

Focusing on "One Belt and One Road Initiative", a reporting team, organized by Xinhua News Agency and the Luoyang municipal government, began a long journey from Luoyang, Henan province on June 15.

The reporting team had its first stop at China's largest agricultural machinery manufacturer, YTO Group Corporation, headquartered in Luoyang.

At the beginning of June an infinite variable speed wheeled tractor of YTO Group Corporation debuted at an exhibition on China's science and technology achievements during the 12th Five-Year Plan period (2011-2015). It not only attracted visitors at the exhibition with its design and advanced technology, but was also praised by Premier Li Keqiang and Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee.

With an aim to be a leading international agricultural equipment supplier, YTO Group keeps trying to speed up internationalization and market exploration in the countries and regions along the Belt and Road. For example, the group has invested in an agricultural equipment comprehensive services park in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region in order to meet market developments in the region and the Middle-East.

"We strive to transform from a regional enterprise to a global enterprise, from products manufacturing to brand cultivation, from international trade to global marketing, and to be an outstanding international agricultural equipment supplier in five to ten years," said Zhao Yanshui, chairman of YTO Group. As its next step, the group plans to establish product R&D, manufacturing and marketing platforms in Xinjiang to develop products with regional characteristics, good market potential and high added-value.

As they concluded their reporting from the first stop in Luoyang, the reporting group was set to continue their tour in China and elsewhere. The domestic tour includes stops in Henan province, Hubei province, and Hunan province and ends at Xinjiang. The international tour starts from Kyrgyzstan and will extend to Holland. It will include twelve stops and last over two months.
